1/17/06 - The USLMRA and Stevens County Fair have completed negotiaions and Minnesota will have it's first ever USLMRA National Scantioned Race on Aug, 12th, at the Stevens County Fair, in Morris MN.

Gentlemen:
We are looking very good for a US Points Race August 12, 2006, Stevens County Fair, Morris, MN. http://scfair.net/
50 miles from ND/SD border, 2 hours from Fargo, 4 hours from Bismarck, close to Minneapolis/St. Paul.
I would hope that MN, ND and WI Local Chapters might steer clear of this date so that we can deliver a strong racer turnout to Stevens County Fair. But, of course, Local Chapters are free to make that decision on their own.
Will have final answer from their board of directors by January 1, but I think this one will be a go. Special thanks to Lee Vine for handling discussions and negotiations on behalf of USLMRA!
