With the support of the USLMRA, lawn mower racers throughout our sport decided to host an events that would ensure that all racers would be on the same page in regard to explanation of the class build rules and safety. These "Clinics" as they quickly became known as became very popular with racers and would be racers as they offer a chance to see the many different ways lawnmowers can be modified to make them fast and mow-st importantly safe. The MNLMRA hosted one of these such events on April 2nd 2005. In attendance were drivers from Montana, North Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin. USLMRA national Staff members, Ken Jones - Race Commissioner, George Herrin - Technical Inspector, Don Gienger - Technical Inspector were all on hand to present information.
